Eupen Cable produces railway signaling cables according to the specifications of national rail network operators. Often, these specifications are taken over by regional and private network operators. As a result, Belgian INFRABEL standards, German DB-AG standards and French SNCF standards have become established reference standards. To offer cables with inductive protection for a safe operation alongside a high voltage traction network, is not an issue for Eupen Cable, neither from the constructive nor from the metrological point of view.
For tunnel areas, additional properties for improved fire behavior, like for instance zero halogen, minimal fire propagation and low smoke density, are often requested. For this application, as well as for permanent installation in buildings, Eupen Cable can supply cables with a Declaration of Perfomance “DoP” (please see our search engine “DoP Finder” and CE marking according to EN 50575, in order to meet the requirements of the European Construction Products Regulation (CPR).
